About Us

About Our Founder — Suresh Kumar

100 Men of Toronto was founded by Suresh Kumar, a visionary leader, community builder, and entrepreneur whose mission has always been rooted in impact, integrity, and connection.

Suresh is best known as the Founder & CEO of Connecting GTA, where he transformed a small local initiative into one of Ontario’s most trusted and influential business networking organizations. His leadership is built on a simple but powerful principle: strong communities are created when people genuinely support one another. Through Connecting GTA, he has helped countless entrepreneurs grow, collaborate, and succeed.

With more than 22 years of entrepreneurial experience, Suresh has built, scaled, and supported businesses across multiple sectors. His professional profile reflects both his vision and discipline:

  • Founder & CEO of Connecting GTA, an exclusive business network focused on elevating entrepreneurship and fostering authentic professional relationships.
  • A respected advocate for small and medium-sized businesses, guiding them through growth, challenges, and long-term success.

Suresh brings the same commitment to 100 Men of Toronto, designing a giving model that is consistent, transparent, and community-driven. Under his stewardship—and within the broader umbrella of the Connecting GTA Foundation—the group has already delivered meaningful impact, including:

  • $11,000 raised and donated to four Royal Canadian Legions (with support from Pathwise Credit Union)
  • $1,500 donated to Children Without Borders
  • $10,000 donated to the SHN Foundation
  • $2,500 provided to support a cancer patient’s family in Oshawa

Suresh’s leadership is defined by action, compassion, and the belief that ordinary people can create extraordinary change when they stand together.

His vision for 100 Men of Toronto is simple:

Build a community of committed men & women who give consistently, impact meaningfully, and support the grassroots organizations shaping a better future for the GTA.

COMMON QUESTIONS

How Our Giving Circle Creates Maximum Impact.

What is 100 Men of Toronto?

100 Men of Toronto is a nonprofit initiative where business owners come together to make a meaningful impact in the community. Members contribute annually, and all funds raised support community organizations through the Connecting GTA Foundation.

Members pay a yearly fee to join. This fee supports our charitable initiatives and includes access to selected events hosted throughout the year. A portion of the membership also contributes directly to donations made under the Connecting GTA Foundation.

Community organizations are selected in partnership with the Connecting GTA Foundation. Members may also suggest organizations for consideration, ensuring funds support causes aligned with our mission and community needs.

Membership grants access to a series of exclusive gatherings, including networking events, community presentations, member socials, and special cause-driven evenings. These events give members an opportunity to connect, learn, and see the impact of their contributions.

Membership is open to business owners and professionals who want to contribute meaningfully to the community and be part of a collective giving model. Interested individuals must complete a membership form and meet the annual fee requirement.

All donations are processed through the Connecting GTA Foundation, which provides clear reporting on contributions, selected beneficiaries, and the impact achieved. Members receive updates and are invited to events where recipient organizations share their stories and outcomes.
